Tracy Press is the founder of Powerful Beyond Measure, which she formed to use her resources and concern for youth and urban residents to make a difference in underserved communities.  

She is also president and founder of Sweet Soul Entertainment, an entertainment consulting, marketing and event planning firm. Her projects, through Sweet Soul, have included work with music conferences, record labels, artists and producers, major corporations, industry professionals, athletic organizations, liquor distributors and many other companies (i.e. Essence Magazine, Showtime, Tanqueray, VIBE, etc.). Through Sweet Soul, she also publishes an on-line publication for entertainment professionals. Tracy has been actively involved in various parts of the music and entertainment industry for ten years, working for record labels (EMI Music, Def Jam, Chucklife Productions/Epic Records) and corporations as a promotions and events executive.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Tracy represents the entertainment and non-profit communities via panels and speaking engagements for the National Council of Negro Women, United Nations, Time Warner, Howard University, and more. Tracy was also featured in the Washington Post for her status as a premiere event planner and influential persona in the Mid-Atlantic region, while profiling one of her successful events.

Over the years, she has actively served as a regular volunteer for DC non-profits and arts organizations. Her roles as an entrepreneur and socially active urbanite, has afforded her the means to use the wonderful people, opportunities and resources she has, to share with those who may benefit from them.

Tracy was most recently the Executive Director of the Michael Walton Foundation, an athlete founded non-profit. She was also a former Board Member of Greater DC Cares’ Social Circle and currently an active mentor and youth advocate.
