As the industry continues to be marred by downsizing and restructuring… the ladder of success becomes a harder climb. Today’s entertainment industry women are recognizing the importance of establishing their own networks that empower, encourage and support. SISTERHOOD: A Network of Our Own seeks to provide a “think space” and unit of connectivity for women. As we begin to pave the way for a new generation of women of power, it is essential to establish and maintain positive relationships. This motivational gathering aims to create a sense of community among women who are struggling to succeed, or simply survive in the male dominated music and entertainment industry. No dais, no one sitting higher than anyone else… just women coming together to empower in open discussion, confronting issues, dealing with life's journeys both personal and professional, while offering survival techniques that are necessary to climb today’s corporate ladder of success.
