As you peruse the NABFEME website, we’re sure many different images come to mind. And, rarely do these images include men. We have always welcomed male involvement in what we do at NABFEME and that involvement has received many mixed reactions. Some sisters embrace the male presence as integral parts of our success, while others see men as a group incapable of understanding women’s issues.

 Regardless of what side you’re on, men have been and continue to be an effective part of our growth in music and entertainment. Support for NABFEME, its programs and services continue to arise from many male entertainment executives. Many are involved because they see themselves as a part of both the existing entertainment patriarchy and the solution.
