Toni Bell has held, which easily gives one a bird's eye view
of her diversified talents and outstanding career.
Toni Bell made her mark in the beginning
of her career in 1986 by establishing WRUS, Rust College's
first non-commercial, educational radio station. Training
announcers, satisfying FCC requirements and getting this college
radio outlet up and running led to a variety of other radio
stations and positions. Toni's talents and broadcast career
have touched powerhouses like #1 Ranked WHRK in Memphis, Heritage
Adult WXOK, to her taking over promotion responsibilities
as Director of Marketing for "Martha Jean The Queen's
WQBH" in Detroit.
A Broadcasting and Journalism graduate from
Southern University, Toni Bell Currently severs as the official
planner and developer of the annual National Black Programmers
Coalition (NBPC) Conference, slated for January, 2000 in Charlotte,
NC. Along with these duties, Toni serves as a marketing consultant
for WTMP in Tampa, FL and Director of Corporate Sponsorship,
this past Memphis in May festival was ranked as the most successful
in the twenty-three (23) year history of the festival.
