Rosetta Fletcher
Founder of Fletcher's One Stop Records

Any successful business has a history of hard work, dedication and service to others. Rosetta Fletcher is a businesswoman who exemplifies this statement. Affectionately nicknamed "Lady," Rosetta Fletcher has been in the retail business for more than 50 years. From Vicksburg, MS, she began her retail career at a popular department store known as Alden's. She met and married her business partner, Mr. E. Fletcher in 1947. Together they opened their first retail record business, "Fletcher's on East 75th Street. Fletcher's began as a television and record store. In 1964, Fletcher's TV changed its name to Fletcher's One Stop Records and was one of the few African American owned one stops in the country. During the 70s and 80s, Fletcher's continued to grow, expanding their business from one location to four retail locations. During the 90s, under the supervision of Rosetta, Fletcher's One Stop Records continued to thrive and has received the Billboard Top Black Album Award, Midwest Living Legends Award, the Cash Money/Universal Records Award and the Midwest Radio and Music Association Griot Award to name a few. In addition to being a music marketer, Rosetta Fletcher handles all of the accounting and record keeping for the business, a devoted member of the Park Manor Christian Church, she holds a degree in Business Management. Mrs. Fletcher offers these words of wisdom for business owners... "take care of business and the business will take care of you." We salute Mrs. Rosetta Fletcher, a 50-year success story and A NABFEME SHERO!
