Stella Foster has imprinted her own creative style and distinctive career in the profession of journalism and broadcasting. Often referred to as "Stellar" by Chicago Sun Times' columnist, Irv Kupeinet of the popular "Kup's Column." ...for more than two decades Stella's identity with Kup's has become legendary. Her "Starlights by Stella" column in the very popular national magazine, Sister 2 Sister, published by her sister, Jamie Foster-Brown is one of the magazine's most talked about articles. Seven years ago, Stella penned her "Oh Boy! Ain't She Opinionated" section of her column. Stella's signature style and unique viewpoints lead to her television broadcast career. Formerly of Fox Morning News at 6, "Stella Sez" was a celebrity news segment, featuring Stella's witty and somewhat irreverent insights on the stars. Active with professional and community organizations, Stella is a member of the Chicago Association of Black Journalism and the Chicago Press Club. She has been featured in many publications, including the Chicago Magazine; Today's Black Woman and The Chicago Defender. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious African Village Award. Stella Foster has carved her own impressive career niche as a writer, broadcaster and editorial assistant and over the years has established herself as a unique personality.
