Keith Landecker
Program Director - WJTT-FM (Power 94)
NABFEME Brown Sugar, Keith Landecker has
been programming WJTT-FM, aka Power-94, for over a decade.
Yes, ya heard right... 10 years in the same market! While
Power 94 is not always ranked #1, as a matter of fact, its
rarely #1... but it is a dominate force in the market and
a Chattanooga mainstay! Number 1 in the hearts and minds of
Chattanooga's Urban listeners, not only is WJTT a mainstay
in the Chattanooga market, it is also a mainstay in the Brewer
chain of stations; a chain that Keith Landecker helped to
build! Keith placed his roots in Chattanooga and blossomed
with station, the community and the company. His dedication
and his commitment to excellence are complimented by an eagerness
to learn and unconditional love for the business. These attributes
have earned him and Power 94 numerous industry awards.
Keith Landecker is not only the Program
Director of Power 94; he also performs with high ratings,
the station's afternoon drive shift. He says, "Some people
think it's hard to do both, but it keeps me closer to the
action. And I have a passion for it. I like being right here
and putting everything in place."
Keith names Donnie Simpson (WPGC), Electrifying
Mojo in Detroit, James Alexander (WEMX/KRRQ) and Tony Fields
(WGZB/WBLO) as some of his radio role models. From a career
that began at WJYL in Louisville, KY to the main ingredient
of the success of Brewer Broadcasting, Keith says if he were
not in radio, he probably would be a baseball coach. Luckily
for us he picked up the mike and the rest is history.
A family man, when comes too relaxing Keith
spends time with his wife Kathy and plays in the yard with
his kids.
