Possessing a lucrative career that has spanned
decades, Miller London's winning attributes has played a significant
role in the positioning and development of African American
executives in the music and entertainment industry. During
his tenure as Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Urban
Music at A&M Records, Miller London and his staff was
responsible for taking A&M's market share from #11 to
a profit building #3! Before A&M, Miller was top gun at
RCA for several years, handling Black Music Marketing as well
as sales in the Pop, Urban and Country formats.
Miller London's career in the music and
entertainment industry began in 1969 at Motown Records as
a Regional LP and Tapes Sales Manager. A beginning that took
him in 1988 to Vice President of Marketing, and later to Vice
President of Sales and Distribution and finally to the "Big
Willie" gig, General Manager of Motown Records.
Today, Miller London's energy, tenacity
and know how rests in his posh Burbank, CA office at The Urban
Network. The Urban Network is a weekly Black music industry
trade magazine that is trusted and read weekly by industry
