I. NABFEME MEMBERSHIP DUES SCHEDULE
A NABFEME member is defined as any person who is active in any aspect of the music and entertainment industry and/or any person who evidences interest in supporting the goals and objectives of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, Inc. NABFEME membership is open to entertainment industry professionals and students with varying levels of academic accomplishment and work experience. Men and non-industry applicants who would benefit by membership and participation in NABFEME may become members of the organization as Affiliate members.
NABFEME operates on a January – December calendar/fiscal year. Membership dues are due on the 15th of the next calendar year in the same month in which you joined the organization. Example, if you join the organization on February 1st 2007 … your membership is due for renewal February 15th the next or following calendar year. A Renewal Notice is sent 90 days prior to your expiration date, with several reminders to follow. When dues are not paid the membership goes into arrears, and once the membership goes into arrears, the member loses "Members Only" privileges.
Should ninety days after the renewal date pass and the membership still has not been renewed, the member goes into inactive status. After a member has become inactive, to be restored with the same membership number and status, the member must pay a $25 reinstatement fee.

· Has been a NABFEME member for three or more years
· Is a member in good standing
· Is working no more than 50% of the time.
National dues for Retired Members are set at $50; retired members receive all member benefits.
REINSTATEMENT
A NABFEME member who has been inactive (dues unpaid) will be dropped from the membership roster if dues are not received within ninety (90) dates after the renewal date has passed. Once a member has been dropped from the membership roster, the membership number is discarded and level of member seniority is lost. Paying a $25 reinstatement fee, plus the annual dues fee will automatically reinstate the member. If the member does not wish to incur the reinstatement fee, the member must rejoin the organization as a new member.
