NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK FEMALE EXECUTIVES IN MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT, INC. (NABFEME) LAUNCHES REDESIGNED WEBSITE

Inspirational and Motivational gathering place for women in entertainment www.NABFEME.org

New York, NY - The National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, Inc. (NABFEME), the ultimate network of female powerhouses, announced the launch of its redesigned website, www.NABFEME.org. The completely overhauled site offers a user-friendly interface, fresh new design, a search engine, easy navigating tools, and provides the most up-to-date information on the organization, its members, and women in the music and entertainment industry.

Designed to present essential information for its members, the media and the general public, the new NABFEME website includes resources such as biographies of the music and entertainment industry's elite, press releases, an Events Calendar, Speaker's Bureau, and Mentor Partnership. The Members Only section of the site features the community forum, a smart money guide, resource directory and the highly coveted membership directory.

"The new site reflects NABFEME's intensive growth and position as a world-class leadership organization that provides access, information, leadership exchange and development for black women in music and entertainment," says Johnnie Walker, president and founder of NABFEME. "My favorite addition to the website, is the updated information in the Shero and High Heels In High Places (formally Trailblazers) section, I'm personally inspired by the many women who seized the moment and broke the glass ceiling."

Founded in 1999 by record industry trailblazer Johnnie Walker, NABFEME supports and empowers black female professionals, managers, and technicians in the music and entertainment industries. More than 2,500 women worldwide have joined this stellar nonprofit organization, whose purpose is to assist with the economic and career development of women of color in entertainment.
