Gabriele Smith, Founder & CEO of Premier
Business Management, has become one of the most influential
powerbrokers in the entertainment industry. Her current position
as leader of one of the fastest growing companies in the industry
is by far her proudest achievement in a career that spans
a little over a decade. She has re-shaped the nature of the
business management industry by starting a firm that skillfully
blends accounting and investment vehicles to not only manage
her clients' assets, but to assist in wealth creation. It
is because of this knowledge and exemplary level of expertise
that she commands the respect she receives.
At the age of 30, Gabriele left her position
as Vice President of Investments at Prudential Securities,
Inc. to start Premier Business Management. Prior to Prudential
Securities, Gabriele planted the seeds of her financial career
at prestigious Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where she quickly
rose through the ranks to capture to title of Associate Vice
President of Investments. Armed with her entertainment clients,
she decided to set out on her own. She put together a highly
trained and experienced staff to fulfill her dream of assisting
clients with OVERALL wealth management. Premier was her way
of addressing the growing fear that business managers were
not complementing investment work. "Its not enough to
have a great investment portfolio if you don't have a good
accountant to properly prepare your taxes or a good bookkeeper
to pay your bills in a timely fashion." Premier Business
Management has been embraced largely because of Ms Smith's
business acumen, her vast financial and investment knowledge,
as well as her dedicated staff members. The firm's clientele
is a "who's who" list that includes athletes, senior
record label executives, recording artists and other high
net worth individuals.
Gabriele's determination to ensure that
each of her clients have successful business ventures outside
of their professional career has turned her into the ultimate
dealmaker. She secures real estate, restaurant, hotel and
apparel deals for her clients to invest in. Additionally,
she oversees all of her clients' assets at major brokerage
firms. As if that were not enough, she manages a staff of
accountants, bookkeepers, insurance consultants and assistants
that execute her clients' financial transactions on a daily
basis. How does she keep it all in perspective? She lives
by two life principals: First, "Pray as though everything
depends on God, then act as though everything depends on you."
Secondly: "If you believe your time is valuable, then
you will use it well."
Premier Business Management, in a short
time has accomplished what many firms have taken years to
build or simply have yet to achieve. Currently headquartered
in New York, Premier also has offices in Dallas, TX and the
company is looking to expand to Los Angeles by year's end.
Ms Smith believes that Premier Business Management is best
at handling the delicate balance between expansion and maintaining
close bonds with each of her clients. Her goal is to continue
to grow the company by simply "delivering all that we
