Praise In The Park is a FREE outdoor community celebration that brings together faith, music, culture, family, and community in the heart of Memphis. It is designed to create a positive, welcoming environment where people can come together, enjoy live entertainment, connect with community resources, and celebrate what makes Memphis special.
2. When and where is Praise In The Park?
Praise In The Park will take place Sunday, November 1, 2026, 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM at Martin Luther King Jr. Riverside Park in Memphis, TN. To access the Park, take Exit 9/Mallory Avenue off I-55 and follow the MLK Park signs. Upon entering the park, turn left for the South Promenade.
3. Is there a cost to attend?
No. Praise In The Park is “FREE” and open to the community. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your cousins, co-workers, lawn chairs, and come ready to enjoy the day.
4. Is Praise In The Park a Church event?
Praise In The Park is faith-based, but it is not a church service or a single-church event. It is a community celebration that uses the power of music, praise, fellowship, culture, and positive engagement to bring people together.
5. Do I have to be Christian or attend church to come?
No… everyone is welcome. You do not have to belong to a particular church, denomination, or faith community to enjoy the event. NO. While faith and praise are central to the Praise In The Park experience … the event is intentionally designed to celebrate music and culture in a broader way. The goal is to create an environment where different artists and audiences can connect through the common language of music, entertainment, inspiration, and community.

Absolutely! Food vendors will be on-site offering a variety of food and refreshments for purchase.
