Tonia Champagne

Recipient of the YWCA of Essex and West Hudson’s 2011 “Woman of Distinction Award”... Tonia is president of Champagne International Music Group, subsidiary of Kouassi Int’l Distribution LLP. She is CEO/President of Champagne Entertainment Promotions & Management LLC and Wegotus Kidz A NJ Nonprofit Corporation, Office Manager at Champagne and Co. Income Tax Service Inc, at Jersey4HipHop.com. First Lady of the TopMics Tour New Jersey and the previous owner of Sista 2 Sista Auto Repair Inc, the very 1st female owned and operated Auto Repair Shop in Newark NJ.

Dedicating her time to empowering youth through expressions in the arts, her entertainment company manages and develops numerous aspiring artists and dancers. Tonia has also worked as the Director of the Dance Program at the Division of Recreation for the City of East Orange and the Boylan Street Recreation Center in the City of Newark. She also worked as the Public Relations Director and Director of Entertainment for the FP YOUTHOUTCRY Foundation, a nonprofit organization that entertains, educates, and empowers youth.

Tonia feels that her main purpose in life is to help troubled teens and their families as well as facilitate neighborhood rehabilitation … “I am an advocate for children! I am their voice when they don’t have a voice … I know I’m not a Superwoman but I sure do try to be,” says Tonia.

Aside from her many activities, Tonia coordinated the 1st Urban Based production of “A Jersey Story”... a storyline based on the dreams and admirations of Jersey youths. According to Tonia … “There is so much more for me to do and so much more to get accomplished, and with the will of God and the support of family and friends, I will fulfill all of my dreams.”
