Maria is creator and owner of the Beautiful Baller™ brand and magazine concept, which promotes the social relevance and positive imagery of women in professional sports and entertainment, while highlighting their influence of trends in beauty and fashion. The Beautiful Baller™ Brand was developed to be an expression of female empowerment, the magazineprovide a platform for innovative online female sports and entertainment marketing and exposure.
Maria is a contract management, finance and business operations professional, with more than 20 years of experience in the corporate, nonprofit and government sectors of business. In addition to creating Beautiful Baller™, she created three blog/magazine pages on Facebook.com which are gaining momentum: The Southern Gurl™, The Money Clip™, and Crown&Glory™. She is also the owner of Superior Notary Solutions Incorporated, which offers enterprise, businesses and individuals a comprehensive line of outsourced real estate closing, financial, notary and legal support services.
Amidst her demanding career and professional endeavors, Maria serves as the Dallas Network Director for NABFEME (the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment), as well as Co-Founder and Network Director of FAB (Females About Business). Maria holds a Bachelor of Science Finance degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science Entertainment Business degree from Full Sail University. She is a native of Birmingham, AL and currently resides in Dallas, TX with her husband and children.
