The “PRICE” of Being HER!

In celebration of Women’s History Month and on the eve of International Women’s Day… NABFEME (National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, Inc) is honored to present the Women’s Gospel Summit. On March 7, 2026, we will gather in the Banquet Hall at Southbrook Mall, 1254 E. Shelby Drive in Memphis, TN beginning with a “Power Breakfast” at 9:00 am. Our Keynote Speaker is powerhouse Chicago Entertainment Attorney Heather Beverly, Esq. The Women’s Gospel Summit is not a concert; it is a thoughtfully curated experience designed for women working in corporate environments, entrepreneurship, ministry, and the arts. The goal is to bring together a powerful collective from the Church, business, and entertainment communities to cultivate strategy, share experiences, and learn! Prepare for a day dedicated to inspired information, meaningful connections and sisterhood.
The Women’s Gospel Summit, themed “The Price of Being HER,” honors the journeys of women across leadership, business, career, community service, and the Church. Each carries a story that required a cost. Yet she remains… standing with purpose, growing with intention and becoming with power. Created to empower and uplift women through faith-filled conversations, transformative teaching and the art of Gospel Music… this engaging program brings together influential speakers, thought leaders, and performers for a meaningful discussion of the sacrifices made, strategies used, and strengths needed for women to thrive in purpose driven leadership. Attendees will participate in conversations on resilience, identity, and the professional and personal price associated with taking their vision and careers to the next level.
Let’s Talk About It
Women in Ministry and the Gospel music industry often face many of the same challenges as their counterparts in secular music and other professional spaces—yet in the Gospel community, many of these struggles are often left unspoken or unshared. From gender stereotypes to limited leadership roles, recognition, balancing ministry & family life… image pressures, lack of mentorship & networking, emotional burnout, recording contracts, promotion & marketing, performance demands, navigating society’s expectations and criticisms… all of this while striving to find joy in serving the Lord. As this journey can be both complex and deeply personal… the NABFEME Women’s Gospel Summit takes the deeper dive.
More than Music — This gathering and meeting of the minds is an Empowered Movement! It offers a sacred space for spiritual renewal, professional development, and authentic sisterhood all under one roof. Attendees will engage in thought-provoking seminars, connect with visionary leaders, speakers and creatives, while building meaningful relationships that strengthen both their calling, their art and their community. This event is dedicated to the legacy, purpose, and unstoppable power of women who walk boldly in their faith and purpose.
